AN ACT
Amending title 32, chapter 32, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 32-3210; relating to health professionals.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 32, chapter 32, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 32-3210, to read:
32-3210. Prescription orders; minors; parental consent
A. A health professional shall not issue a prescription order to a person who is under eighteen years of age unless the health professional has secured the written consent from one of the minor's parents or the minor's guardian or conservator.
B. A health professional who violates this section commits an act of unprofessional conduct.
