AN ACT

 

making an appropriation to the department of economic security for substance abuse treatment.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Appropriation; substance abuse treatment; exemption

A.  In addition to any other appropriation, the sum of $5,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2006-2007 to the department of economic security for substance abuse treatment pursuant to title 8, chapter 10, article 6, Arizona Revised Statutes and section 46‑300.05, Arizona Revised Statutes.

B.  The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
