Indian gaming; referendum; technical correction

 

Purpose

 

Makes a technical change and is subject to voter approval at the next general election.

 

Background

 

Often statutory provisions contain defects, inconsistencies or form and style problems. S.C.R. 1012 effectuates an improvement in a statutory provision.

 

There is no fiscal impact to the state general fund associated with this legislation.

 

Provisions

 

1.      Directs the Secretary of State to submit this proposition to the voters at the next general election.

 

2.      Makes a technical change.

 

3.      Becomes effective if approved by the voters and on proclamation of the Governor.
