History

Under current law, a judge pro tempore or a justice of the peace pro tempore may be appointed by the Chief Justice of the State Supreme Court for any period not to exceed six months.

 

Provisions

·          Extends the terms of service of a judge pro tempore and justice of the peace pro tempore from six months to twelve months.
