HB 2057 exempts corporations from having to pay taxes for income that is derived from the sale of electricity that is generated on a Native American reservation.

 

Current Status

HB 2057 failed to pass the Native American Affairs Committee.

 

Provisions

·          Creates an exemption from paying the Transaction Privilege (Sales) Tax for gross income that is derived from the sale of electricity that is generated on a Native American reservation.

·          Exempts corporations from having to pay taxes for income that is derived from the sale of electricity that is generated on a Native American reservation.

·          Makes technical and conforming changes.
