AN ACT
AMENDING TITLE 8, CHAPTER 10, ARTICLE 1, ARIZONA REVISED STATUTES, BY ADDING SECTION 8-817; RELATING TO CHILDREN.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 8, chapter 10, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 8-817, to read:
8-817. Required procedures; unpaid suspension; investigations
THE DEPARTMENT SHALL PLACE A CASE WORKER, AGENCY EMPLOYEE OR CONTRACTED WORKER WHO DOES NOT FOLLOW ALL DEPARTMENT POLICIES ON UNPAID SUSPENSION UNTIL AN INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED BY THE OFFICE OF OMBUDSMAN-CITIZENS AIDE HAS BEEN COMPLETED. THE OFFICE OF OMBUDSMAN-CITIZENS AIDE SHALL CONDUCT AN INVESTIGATION AT THE REQUEST OF THE DEPARTMENT OR A PRIVATE CITIZEN.
