AN ACT

AMENDING TITLE 8, CHAPTER 10, ARTICLE 1, ARIZONA REVISED STATUTES, BY ADDING SECTION 8-817; RELATING TO CHILDREN.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 8, chapter 10, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 8-817, to read:

8-817. Training requirements

A. AT THE TIME OF LICENSING, THE LICENSING AGENCY MUST PROVIDE FOSTER PARENTS AND CHILD CARE PROVIDERS WITH INFORMATION AND TRAINING REGARDING OFFICIAL PROTECTIVE SERVICES POLICIES.

B. BEFORE BEING ASSIGNED TO A CASE, EACH AGENCY EMPLOYEE AND CONTRACTED WORKER ARE REQUIRED TO BE TRAINED ON ALL ASPECTS OF THE OFFICIAL PROTECTIVE SERVICES POLICIES.
