Appropriates $5.2 million in FY 2001-2002 from the state general fund to the University of Arizona and $4.77 million in FY 2001-2002 from the state general fund to Pima Community College for the construction of the Northwest Pima Community College campus co-location.
S.B.1523 appropriates $9.9
million in FY 2001-2002 from the state general fund to the University of
Arizona for the construction of the Northwest Pima Community College
co-location. The new building will
provide permanent spaces for both the International College and the “Two plus
Two” teacher training program. The
facility will be located on the Pima Community College campus and will serve
approximately 600 students attending both Pima Community College and the
University of Arizona.
S.B.1523 appropriates $5.2
million in FY 2001-2002 from the state general fund to the University of
Arizona and $4.77 million in FY 2001-2002 from the state general fund to Pima
Community College for capital costs associated with the Northwest Pima
Community College Campus. Additionally, other legislation is being considered
which will cover the maintenance and operating costs of the facility.

S.B.1523 appropriates $5.2 million in FY 2001-2002 from the state general fund to the University of Arizona and $4.77 million in FY 2001-2002 from the state general fund to Pima Community College to construct a variety of combined university and community college student facilities at the Northwest Pima Community College Campus. Exempts the appropriations from lapsing.
