SB 1544 allows counties to establish a revolving fund to finance infrastructure construction in unincorporated areas of the county.
Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) Title 48, Chapter 6, Article 5 allows a county to form a county road improvement district to help fund road improvements in unincorporated areas of the county. The district is then authorized to bond on behalf of its residents to provide funds for road improvements. SB 1544 would provide an alternate funding plan in order to provide further road improvements in unincorporated areas.
