SB 1218 removes the time limit on leases with the Grand Canyon national park airport.

Provisions

· Removes the 20 year time limit on leases between nonprofit corporations and Grand Canyon national park airport.

· Exempts nonprofit corporations leasing from the Grand Canyon national park airport from current law regarding bid requirements, mechanics and material men’s liens, the personnel system, rule making procedures and the procurement code.

SB 1218 was amended in the Military, Veteran Affairs and Aviation Committee as follows:
