Allows monies in the Statewide Technology License Agreement Account (STLA) to be used for the development of state information technology policies, standards, innovations and strategic direction.

 

History

Laws 2000, Chapter 110 established the STLA to be used for statewide technology license agreements.  The director of the Department of Administration and the director of the Government Information Technology Agency have joint responsibility for the STLA monies.  These monies are used to purchase information technology products and services from vendors.

 

Provisions

·                      Clarifies that the uses of the STLA monies may include the development of state information technology policies, standards, innovation and strategic direction.

 

 

SB 1212 passed the Energy, Utilities and Technology Committee unamended.
