SB 1144 expands the definition of "health care professional" in statute.

History

New health professions have been added to statute in recent years. This bill will update statutory language to include these additional health professions under the general definition of “health care professional.”

Provisions

· Changes the definition of "health care professional" to include the professions of occupational therapy, respiratory care, behavioral health professional, acupuncture and athletic trainer.

· Makes technical changes.
