The current eligible voting age for all elections in Arizona is 18. HCR 2011 would reduce the minimum voting age to 16 in all elections except for elections for the Office of Member of the United States House of Representatives, United States Senator or Presidential Elector.

Provisions

·              Reduces the minimum voting age for all nonfederal elections, from age 18 to 16.

HCR 2011 failed to pass the Counties and Municipalities Committee.
