HB 2600 makes a general fund appropriation to Apache County to be distributed to the Puerco Valley Fire District.

Provisions

· Appropriates $3.5 million from the state general fund in FY 2001-2002 to Apache County to be distributed to the Puerco Valley Fire District for the following:

Ø to enlarge the substation

Ø to build a new base fire station in the Sanders New Land area

Ø for personnel and training of entry level positions for the district

HB 2600 passed the Counties & Municipalities Committee unamended.
