HB 2549 amends current law relating to the board of education and high school diplomas.

Provisions

· Grants a high school equivalency diploma to a person who meets the following requirements:

· At least 65

· Currently lives in this state

· Documented evidence of being enlisted in the armed forces before finishing high school.

· Honorably discharged.
