HB 2500 appropriates $900,000 from the state general fund in FY 2001-2002 to the Disease Control Research Commission for research on neurodevelopmental disorders including autism. 

 

Provisions

·                      Appropriates $900,000 from the state general fund in FY 2001-2002 to the Disease Control Research Commission to establish a research contract through the procurement process for neurodevelopmental disorders.

·                      Exempts the appropriation from lapsing.

 

HB 2500 was amended in the Health Committee as follows:

 

·                      Allows for multiple contracts to be issued.

·                      Specifies money is targeted to autism
