Provisions
·Appropriates from the State General Fund in each of the
fiscal years 2001-02 and 2002-03 to the Department of Economic Security (DES)
the following amounts:
·$10 million for capital outlay for developing the
infrastructure to support tribal TANF activities.
·$4,500,000 to provide a one hundred per cent match for
the TANF maintenance of the required services.
·Appropriates from the TANF Block Grant in each of the
fiscal years 2001-02 and 2002-03 to the DES the following amounts:
·$8 million for tribal planning, administration and data
management information systems.
·$6 million for a permanent tribal allocation for
education, childcare, transportation, substance abuse treatment and support
services.
