Provisions

· Appropriates the amount of $146,000 from the Domestic Violence Shelter Fund in fiscal year 2001-2002 to the Department of Economic Security.

· Provides that the appropriated monies shall be distributed to the Navajo Tribe for the Navajo Women’s Domestic Violence Program.

· Exempts the appropriation from lapsing.

HB 2472 passed the Native American Affairs Committee unamended.
