HB2446 amend section 28-5811 which relates to vehicle taxes and fees exemption

History

Section 28-5811 originally exempted the National Guard and reservists from license tax and registration fees when called to active military duty.

Provisions

· Expands the current statute to include any orders to report to active military duty outside of this state.

· Requires that the applicant provide a copy of the United States armed forces member’s orders as evidence of being ordered to report to active military duty outside of this state.
