HB2413 makes appropriations for the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board for regional law enforcement training center.

 

History

 

Provisions

·                      Appropriates $995,000 from the state general fund in FY 2001-02 and FY 2002-03 to the Arizona peace officer standards and training board for completion of construction of the regional law enforcement training center in Pinal county, at Central Arizona College.

·                      Requires the college to provide a land and site preparation contribution of $1.2 million, an additional $250,000 from the department of public safety and $1 million from the Arizona peace officer standards and training board.

·                      Stipulates that after completion of construction the Arizona peace officer standards and training board  send notice of the completion to all state, county, municipal, tribal and other law enforcement agencies.

·                      Ensures that the notice of completion will include a description of all training services and notice of the availability for the use of any or all of the facilities provided by the regional law enforcement training center.
