Clarifies county ordinance authority and makes technical corrections.

History

Current law allows a county board of supervisors, when conducting county business, to adopt, amend and repeal all ordinances necessary in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of that county providing they are not specifically limited by existing law or in conflict with any rule or law of Arizona.  HB 2357 allows a board of supervisors to implement county ordinances without further specific legislative authority.        

Provisions

·              Includes all procedures, processes, rules and powers to implement county ordinances in clarifying county ordinance authority and specifies county ordinances be implemented without further legislative authority.

·              Makes other technical and conforming changes.
