HB 2355 stipulates that work provided by volunteers and donations made for water or sewer projects shall not be included in the total cost of the project for procurement purposes.

History

Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) §34-201 states that any street, road, bridge, water or sewer work, other than a water or sewer treatment plant, may be constructed by an agent’s regular personnel without going through the procurement process, if the work does not exceed a certain cost ($100,000) adjusted by the annual percent change in GDP price deflator).

Provisions

·                      Exempts work provided by volunteers and donations made for water or sewer projects from the total cost of the project for procurement purposes.

·                      Makes other technical and conforming changes.
