HB2332 amends Title 15 by adding a statute regarding educational records and recruiting.

 

History

15-142 was repealed in Laws 1996, chapter 284.

 

Provisions

·        Requires that the same information given to groups to inform pupils of educational or occupational opportunities by a school board, must also be given to official recruiting agents of the state militia and the armed services of the United States.

·        Prohibits school boards from releasing information that would violate the Family Educational and Privacy Rights Act of 1974

 

HB 2332 passed by the Military, Veterans Affairs and Aviation committee unamended.

HB 2332 was amended in the Committee of the Whole with a technical and conforming change recommended by the Rules Committee.
