The proposed strike-everything amendment for HB 2330
increases the biennial registration fee and the maximum amount that the Board
can collect for registration suspensions.
The Arizona State Board of Accountancy (ASBA) consists of seven members who are appointed by the Governor to serve five-year terms. The Board is comprised of five Certified Public Accountant (CPA’s) and two public members.
The ASBA regulates certified public accountants and public accountants to ensure they conduct themselves in accordance with the Accountancy Board statutes and rules. The Board processes applications and administers examinations, certifies applicants for licensure, reviews applications for biennial renewal of certificates and licenses certified public accountants, public accountant partnerships and professional corporations.
