History

Current law requires special taxing districts such as fire, sanitary and power districts, to submit an annual budget to the county treasurer and board of supervisors no later than July 10 of each year. HB 2330 changes this date to August 15.

Provisions

· Changes the date by which special taxing districts’ annual budgets must be submitted to county treasurers and board of supervisors from July 10 to August 15.
