HB 2271 makes a supplemental appropriation to state probation programs.

 

History

            The Arizona judiciary received monies from the general fund for FY 2001 state probation and treatment programs as follows:

 

·        Adult standard probation - $27,645,100

·        Adult intensive probation -  $21,222,600

·        Interstate compact adult probation - $1,402,900

·        Community punishment - $5,606,200

·        Juvenile standard probation - $7,971,100

·        Juvenile intensive probation - $14,555,200

·        Juvenile treatment services - $24,523,100

·        Progressively increasing consequences - $9,553,400

 

Provisions

·                      Appropriates an additional $5,828,100 for FY 2001 from the state general fund to the Arizona judiciary for the following programs: adult standard probation, adult intensive probation, interstate compact adult probation, community punishment, juvenile standard probation, juvenile intensive probation, juvenile treatment services and progressively increasing consequences.

 

HB 2271 passed the Judiciary Committee unamended.
