HB 2106 creates a program to teach eligible inmates how to train a dog to assist the disabled.

Provisions

·                      Requires the Director of the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADC) to develop a program that teaches trustworthy inmates who pose a minimum escape risk and who have no more than sixteen years to serve or their sentence, how to train and care for a dog to assist the disabled.
