HB 2096 requires elections for candidates for public office by political subdivisions, school districts or special taxing districts be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.

History

1).  The second Tuesday in March.

2).  The third Tuesday in May.

3).  The eighth Tuesday before the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.

4).  The first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.

Provisions

·                      HB 2096 requires county, city or town, school district or special taxing district elections at which candidates for public office are to be elected to be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, unless prohibited by law, charter, or city, town or county ordinance.
