HB 2043 requires that internet web sites established by the
state must include a privacy statement and notice as to how information
gathered by the site will be collected and used.
Provisions
·Provides that any web site offered by the state must
contain a privacy statement that describes the information gathering and
dissemination practices of the state.
·Establishes the minimum amount of information that must
be provided on the web site as follows:
1.The
services provided by the site.
2.Information
regarding how transactions are processed by the web site.
3.Whom
will have access to the information provided by the taxpayer.
