AN ACT
PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF MONIES TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES FOR CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION OF COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Transfer of monies; purpose; exemption
A. The sum of $2,000,000 is transferred from the capital appropriations made to the Arizona health care cost containment system administration in fiscal year 2001-2002 to the department of health services for capital construction of community health centers in medically underserved areas as defined in section 36-2352, Arizona Revised Statutes.
B. The transfer made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
