AN ACT
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS TO THE ARIZONA PEACE OFFICER STANDARDS AND TRAINING BOARD FOR A REGIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING CENTER.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriations; regional law enforcement training center
A. The sum of $995,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in each of the fiscal years 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 to the Arizona peace officer standards and training board for completion of construction of the regional law enforcement training center in Pinal county at Central Arizona College, Signal Peak Campus. The college shall provide a land and site preparation contribution of $1,200,000, with additional sums of $250,000 from the department of public safety and $1,000,000 from the Arizona peace officer standards and training board.
B. On completion of the construction of the regional law enforcement training center, the Arizona peace officer standards and training board shall send notice of the completion to all state, county, municipal, tribal and other law enforcement agencies. The notice of completion shall include a description of all training services and notice of the availability for the use of any or all of the facilities provided by the regional law enforcement training center.
