AN ACT
MAKING A CONDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC SECURITY FOR SOCIAL SERVICES.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Conditional appropriation; purpose; exemption
A. The sum of up to $6,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2001-2002 to the department of economic security for social service block grant funding if the federal funding level is less than $1,777,500,000.
B. The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
