HB 2497 makes an appropriation to assist counties in maintaining, expanding and operating juvenile detention centers.

 

History

ARS §41-2417 established the state aid to detention fund for the purposes of providing state assistance to counties in maintaining, expanding and operating juvenile detention centers. 

 

Provisions

·                      Appropriates $5,500,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 1999-2000 to the administrative office of the courts for deposit in the state aid to detention fund for providing state assistance to counties in maintaining, expanding and operating juvenile detention centers.

·                      Provides an emergency measure.
