HB 2489 allows county boards of supervisors to sell items prepared for use by the public and by employees.

 

History

Currently, county boards of supervisors may sell services, souvenirs, sundry items or informational publications that are uniquely prepared for use in county parks by the public and license and sell information systems and intellectual property developed from county resources that are not obligated to be public record.

 

Provisions

·                      Broadens the items a county board of supervisors may sell to include any item prepared for use by the public, as well as by employees, not just items prepared for use in county parks.

·                      Makes a technical and conforming change.
