HB 2002 regulates the sale of certain items at swap meets.
HB 2002 stipulates that a vendor shall not sell or exchange certain products at a swap meet, including the following:
· Baby food
· Nonprescription drugs, except herbal products, dietary supplements, or vitamins
· Cosmetic or personal care products having no expiration date
The bill requires a swap meet vendor to maintain receipts or a record book for one year. A vendor must not falsify or destroy records or refuse to make them available for inspection by a law enforcement officer.
HB 2002 prescribes a class 3 misdemeanor [30days/$500] for violations.
