Bill Abstract for HB 2623
(marriage and parenting skills; curriculum)

HB 2623 establishes an interim committee to study the feasibility
of implementing a statewide responsible marriage and parenting
skills curriculum for high school seniors. The bill requires the
committee to submit a written report with recommendations to the
Governor, Speaker of the House, President of the Senate, the
chairman of the Senate Family Services Committee and the chairman
of the House Human Services Committee by November 15, 1999.
HB 2623 passed the Human Services Committee unamended.
