Reference Title: state loan commissioners; repeal

AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR COMMUNITY COLLEGE OPERATIONS.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriations; Purpose

A. The sum of $3,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund to the state board of directors for community colleges for fiscal year 1999-2000 for community college operations.

B. The sum of $3,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund to the state board of directors for community colleges for fiscal year 2000-2001 for community college operations.

C. The funds appropriated in subsection A and B of this section shall be appropriated and distributed in accordance with the provisions of section 15-1466, Arizona Revised Statutes, to each community college district using the following percentage multipliers:

Sec. 2. Legislative intent

It is the intent of the legislature that the monies appropriated in section 1 of this act go toward the operating state aid base consistent with the provisions of section 15-1466, Arizona Revised Statutes.
