Reference Title: appropriation; Sierra Vista campus building

AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA FOR A SIERRA VISTA CAMPUS BUILDING.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriation; purpose; exemption

A. The sum of $500,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 1999-2000, the sum of $750,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2000-2001 and the sum of $1,500,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in each of the fiscal years 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 to the university of Arizona for construction of an academic and technology building on the Sierra Vista campus.

B. The appropriations made in subsection A of this section are exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
