Bill Summary for HB 2665 group homes; standards Sponsors: Daniels, Kyle, Burns

HB 2665 sets forth the duties and standards of group homes.

Specific provisions include:

Requires that all state agencies contracted with group homes shall implement a mediation and conflict resolution process and a neighborhood relations policy.

Requires the Department of Health Services to create a central registry of group homes and a statewide toll free number to provide information about ownership and contractual status.

Directs group homes to develop a neighborhood relations policy and comply with any neighborhood association covenants.
