As a native of Yuma County, Rep. Margaret “Lynne” Pancrazi is honored to represent District 24 at the Arizona House of Representatives.

Rep. Pancrazi is a long-standing, dedicated participant of the Yuma community. For 28 years she served as a teacher, instructor and athletic coach in the Yuma Elementary School District Number One. She retired and then returned because the district lacked teachers. Now as a state legislator, Rep. Pancrazi will serve as a substitute teacher as time allows. She wants to dedicate her time to the constituents of District 24.

She is the former president of the Yuma Elementary Education Association and is a member of the National Education Association. In addition to teaching Yuma’s youngsters, she also has been a licensed realtor for 21 years. Rep. Pancrazi is a member of the Yuma Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

Rep. Pancrazi has enjoyed serving as a lifeguard, swim instructor and pool manager at YPG and Kennedy Pools. She also likes coaching soccer and softball youth leagues for Yuma Parks and Recreation Department.

Rep. Pancrazi received a master’s in elementary education from Northern Arizona University and a bachelor’s in physical education from Point Loma Nazarene College in San Diego. She is proud to have attended Arizona Western College, Kofa High School, Woodard Junior High School and Palmcroft Elementary School, all located in Yuma.

She decided to serve in the Arizona Legislature because of her concern about the quality of education in Arizona. She advocates for a safe and secure border, managed growth and adequate infrastructure throughout the state.
